As we were heading west it began to get icy and then turned to snow. Pulled into a campground in Tucumcari, got set up and were inside, dry and warm when the snow began to really fall! It was fun watching the snow come down - remember, we're both native southern Californians! The biggest problem that we had was the snow interferred with our satellite so we had no t.v. or internet! I didn't mind, no t.v. and it really was no big deal that we had no internet either. Just wouldn't want to be without it for days and days! The

next morning the snow was rapidly melting. Our only problem was we hadn't put our slides in the night before. The slides that were on the sunny side came in with no problems, the slides in the shadows had to have some help! Don got the ladder out and with a little hot water...the ice that had accumulated was melted in no time! Didn't take long for us to get on the road once again!
