Don and I took a drive out to the lake a few days after we got back to Arkansas. We didn't remember all the weeds or the trees at the water line, but guess we can work on that as the house is being built!
We took Tess with us and weren't really prepared! Tess ended up with two ticks on her and a few hours later...even I had one! YUCK! Guess we'll be treating the yard sometime after it officially belongs to us! :-) Tess is now up-to-date on her Frontline as well! And next time...I'll be sure to have shoes, not sandals, and be covered in "Off"!!!

The lot looks good and am sure that the house will be awesome. Will the RV park be completed for the yearly trek to the east coast? Sounds like fun building again so will you be in AR all summer then?
We will enjoy ID and stop by if you come this way before fall.x
So, how far are you off I-40? That should be about a good days drive from OKC and is in the path we'll be taking in September when we go back east for the fall rallies. ;)
Don & Vicki,
Now that you are settling in our part of the country there are two things you need to remember concerning Tess. We have to use Frontline monthly, year round, since it seldom freezes hard enough in the winter to kill the ticks. Also, make sure she gets her monthly heartworm treatment. Heartworms are a real problem in this part of the country.
I got my 1st tick bite yesterday here in Maine, never felt a thing. I wonder how many more I will get and not know it. Scary thought...
